The latest flagship device from Google made in collaboration with Motorola is not a smartphone to be precise. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio and is also covered by Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection.

The Google Nexus 6 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 2.7 GHz quad-core Krait 450 processor which has 3GB of RAM and comes with Adreno 420 GPU. The device runs on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop which comes with array of changes along with the most important ‘Material Design’. The phablet is 10.06 mm thick and weighs 184 grams.

The phablet packs in a 3,200 mAh battery under the hood and Google promises Standby time (Ambient Display on) up to 250 hours. With Standby time (Ambient Display off), you will get up to 330 hours. While using internet on WiFi, users would get around 9,5 hours and up to 10 hours on LTE doing the same. The battery would last up to 10 hours with video playback and 24 hours if only used for calling.

The Google Nexus 6 comes with 32 GB and 64 GB of storage but there is no microSD card slot. You also need a Nano SIM to use the phablet. It has dual front-facing speakers with an array of sensors ranging from GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, ambient light sensor and barometer. The device comes in Midnight Blue and Cloud White colour variants and will be up for pre-order in late October and in stores in November with options for an unlocked version through Play Store, or a monthly contract via carriers like AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon.
