Google Nexus 5X price slashed in India

LG-made Google Nexus 5X was launched in India back in October. The price started at Rs 31,990 for the 16GB variant and went up to Rs 35,900 for the 32GB variant. However, there is a price cut now on Amazon India.


The Nexus 5 16GB is currently available starts around Rs 24,530 and the 32GB costs around Rs 31,500 on Amazon. These discounts are currently available online and price varies according to sellers. Google Nexus 5X Specifications

The LG-made Google Nexus 5X features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 (Quad 1.44 GHz ARM A53 + Quad 1.8 GHz ARM A57) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 418 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes in 16 or 32 GB internal memory that cannot be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Google Now voice assistant is now always on and will work even when the screen is off.


The Nexus 5X comes with a 12.3 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 1.55 micron sensor, f/2.0 aperture and Laser Auto Focus. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 9.7 mm thick, weighs just 136 grams and supports a Single Nano SIM. It comes with a fingerprint sensor named as Nexus Imprint on the back that can be used for secured lock, payments made via Android Pay, wake up the phone and unlock apps as well. It recognizes a fingerprint in less than 600 milliseconds, according to Google.

The Nexus 5X includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and reversible USB Type-C port as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,700 mAh battery under the hood. The Google Nexus 5X is available in Quartz White, Carbon Black and Ice Blue color variants.
