Google Keep gets the Material Design makeover

Google Keep, it’s an excellent app that syncs notes, lists and related photos across your desktop and mobile gear. After a series of updates, Google has now rolled out the update of Google Keep. As we can we can all expect, the new Google Keep app gets its makeover with the new Material Design and a revamped UI.


In the last few updates, Google has squashed many bugs and enhanced the User Experience of the app. They have also added wearable capability in the Google Keep app so that one can check notes and reminders right at their smartwatch. The version 3.0.1 update for Keep gets the latest floating hamburger menu, icons in the slide-out menu and flatter app icon. A new “snackbar”  is added to allow quick undo of actions when notes are archived.A new Search interface will let user search notes based on its type and color.

Google has started rolling out the update. If you haven’t received the update yet, it should arrive in some time.
