We all knew that Google was about to launch new Nexus devices on September 29 but now Google has officially announced it. The company has sent out media invites to the press.
The event invite reads ‘some tasty new treats and much s’more’ and it surely points out to new Nexus devices. The company is also expected to show off Android 6.0 Marshmallow and also reveal its roll out details for older Nexus devices. Google will also announce a new Chromecast that will rock a new design. The event will take place in San Francisco at 9:00 am PT (9:30 pm IST) on September 29. It will also be live streamed on YouTube.
LG Nexus 5X (2015) rumoured specifications
According to previous leaks, the device might feature a USB Type-C port, which is seen on the OnePlus 2. Coming to the display, it might feature a 5.2-inch screen, however, we are not sure about the resolution yet. The LG Nexus 5X will be 8 mm thick at the thinnest point and 9.8 mm thick at the thickest point, because of the protruding camera, according to the leak. The unofficial renders based on the factory schematics depict a large camera sensor on the back along with a dual-tone LED flash, laser Auto Focus. We can also see a fingerprint scanner which is circular in design below the camera module. The images also show a dual front-facing speaker.
The LG Nexus 2015 is rumoured to come with a metal frame and plastic back, however, there is a possibility of it being featuring a full metal uni-body design.
Huawei Nexus 6P rumoured Specifications
The Huawei Nexus 6P will allegedly feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It will be powered by a 1.9 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor along with Adreno 430 GPU. Inside, it will sport 3 GB of RAM along with 32 GB of internal memory. It will run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
On the camera front, the Huawei Nexus 6P will rock a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will be rocking a fingerprint sensor that would be able to detect at least 5 fingerprints. It will also have a USB Type C port that will also be seen in the LG made Nexus 5X and be a standard affair in future devices.
On the connectivity front, it will have 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and more. There is no information about the battery capacity yet.
