Gionee P5W, a colorful budget smartphone was announced back in December last year has now been launched in India. Lets check out the specifications of the device.
Gionee P5W Specifications
The Gionee P5W features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS on-cell display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with matching custom UI according to the device’s color. It has customized lock called AMI lock and also comes with face unlock that is able to unlock the phone in under 0.5 seconds.
The P5W comes with a 5 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is a Dual SIM smartphone with Dual Standby mode, has a 3.5 mm audio jack and DTS. It is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 153 grams.
The P5W includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood.
The Gionee P5W is available in Black, Blue, White, Yellow and Red color variants and has been priced at Rs 6,499 in India. Recently, Gionee Marathon M5 Lite was launched in the country for Rs 12,999.
