Gionee M6S Plus has been officially announced in China. It is the successor of the Gionee M6 Plus that was launched back in July last year. Lets take a quick look at its specifications and features below.
Gionee M6S Plus Specifications
The Gionee M6S Plus features a 6.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, that is powered by a 1.95GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 64-bit processor along with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB/256GB of internal memory, which can be expanded further up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. The device runs on Amigo OS 3.5 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The M6S Plus rocks a 12 megapixel Dual Pixel primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 aperture. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for clicking selfies and making video calls. It supports Dual SIM and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with an encrypted chip (Chinese version only) to secure a user’s personal data and also for secured calls and SMS. The International variant comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button. It also has an infrared sensor. It has a unibody metal design that is 8.25mm thick and weighs 215 grams.
The M6S Plus includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 6020mAh battery under the hood with support for fast charging with dual charging chips.
The Gionee M6S Plus is available in Ink Black color and has been priced at CNY 3499 (US $508 / INR Rs. 32,620 approximately) for the 64GB ROM variant, while the 256GB ROM model costs CNY 4299 (US $624 / INR Rs. 40,078 approximately). It can now be pre-ordered in China and will go on sale from next month.
