Gionee India to launch Elife E8 as online exclusive on October 8

Gionee India is all set to launch the Elife E8 in the country on October 8 at an event in New Delhi. The big phablet was launched in China back in June.

Gionee has sent out media invites that reads “Block your date for some GR8 news. A new phone launch and a big entry into e-commerce”. Gionee India who is known for betting big on the retail market will finally launch a smartphone exclusive in the online market place. The reason could very well be the pricing of the Gionee Elife E8, that is expected to be around Rs 30,000-35,000. Also, it is also a high time where no company can take the online space lightly or they would regret in five years from now. The device will likely be a Flipkart exclusive.
