Gionee GN8001 has been certified by TENAA in China. It is an upcoming mid-range device from the company with a huge display and battery. Lets go through the specifications of the phablet.
Gionee GN8001 Rumoured Specifications
The Gionee GN8001 will feature a 6-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display that will be powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core (MediaTek MT6753 likely) 64-bit processor. It will come with 3 GB of RAM and have 32 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with Amigo UI on top of it.
The GN8001 will rock a 8 or 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front, there will be a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will support Dual SIM. It will be 8.2 mm thick and weigh 206 grams.
On the connectivity front, the GN8001 will include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS. The phablet will pack in a whopping 5,020 mAh battery under the hood.
The Gionee GN8001 is expected to be available in Silver color. The company is also scheduled to launch the Gionee Elife S6 today. It was also leaked couple of days back.
