Gionee Elife E8 phablet launched in India exclusively on Snapdeal for Rs 34999

Gionee Elife E8 phablet has been officially launched in India and the company has officially made a big entry into the e-commerce space in India, as expected, at an event in New Delhi. The device will be exclusively available on Snapdeal. The big phablet was launched in China back in June.


Gionee Elife E8 Specifications

The Gionee Elife E8 features a 6-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X 10 (MT6795) processor along with PowerVR G6200 GPU. The E8 body is made up of aluminium magnesium alloy. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 64 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company’s Amigo UI 3.1 on top of it.

The Elife E8 comes with a 23.7 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 1/2.3″ sensor, 6P lenses, Optical Image stabilization (OIS). It shoots videos at 4K. The camera is capable of shooting up to 120 megapixel images via software modifications which is mind-blowing. It has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. The phablet is 9.6 mm thick and weighs 207 grams. It supports Dual SIM and comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back for secure locking of the device.

The Elife E8 comes with 4G LTE (on both SIMs), 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, USB OTG, NFC and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,520 mAh battery under the hood. It has NXP Smart PA audio chip along with stereo speakers with DTS support.


The Gionee Elife E8 is available in Golden color and has been priced at Rs 34,999. The giant phablet goes on sale exclusively on Snapdeal starting from October 12 in India.
