Gionee Elife E8 gets certified in China, launching in June

Gionee Elife E8 (GN9008) has been certified in China on TENAA. This is the upcoming flagship device by Gionee which is camera-centric.


Gionee, during the launch of Elife S7 in India, confirmed that the Elife E8 will launch in June. Lets have a look at the rumoured specifications.

Gionee Elife E8 specifications

The Gionee Elife E8 will feature a 6-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD AMOLED display and powered by a 2 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It will come with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with the company’s Amigo OS 3.0 on top of it.

The Gionee Elife E8 will rock a 24 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. The flagship device will have a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The phablet is expected to be 9.6 mm thick and weigh 207 grams.

The Gionee Elife E8 will come with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet will pack in a 3,520 mAh built-in battery under the hood. We can expect the official launch anytime now as the device has already been certified in China.
