Fujitsu ARROWS NX F-04G smartphone has been launched in Japan. It also becomes the first phone in the world to incorporate iris recognition authentication. Lets have a look at the specifications.

The Fujitsu ARROWS NX F-04G features a 5.2-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD IPS display and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box.
The NX F-04G comes with a 21 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash. It has iris authentication which is a type of biometric authentication using pattern of the iris of human eye. It is known as Iris Passport which will let you unlock the device as well as perform web login by simply looking at the screen. The smartphone packs in a 3,120 mAh battery under the hood.
The Fujitsu ARROWS NX F-04G is available in Japan via NTT Docomo and has been priced around US $750. It might not see the light outside of Japan ever, which is very sad. We hope to see some other smartphone with iris authentication technology selling worldwide.
