Mozilla had announced Spice and Intex as its hardware partners to launch Firefox OS smartphones in India. Spice has launched its first Firefox smartphone called the Spice Fire One Mi – FX 1. The ultra-affordable smartphone is priced at Rs 2,299 and will be officially unveiled by the company a week from today on August 29.
The Spice Fire One Mi – FX 1 sports a 3.5-inch HVGA display and is powered by a 1GHz processor. It features a 2-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is a dual-sim phone and it supports only 2G network.
The device is pre-loaded with apps like Facebook and Twitter, and also features a Marketplace where users will be able to find new apps. The Spice Fire One Mi – FX 1 will be exclusively available on Snapdeal at the beginning, with other retail stores to follow soon after.
