Docoss X1 becomes India’s most affordable 3G smartphone for Rs 888

Docoss X1, one of the most affordable 3G budget smartphone has been launched in India. A Jaipur-based company named Docoss is behind this model, which costs just Rs 888 (US $13 approximately). Lets check out the specifications of this device.

The Docoss X1 features a 4-inch (850 x 480 pixels) WVGA display that is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box.

The X1 comes with 2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) camera for selfies and video calling. It is 9.3 mm thick and weighs 102 grams. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.

On the connectivity front, the X1 comes with 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone comes with a 1,300 mAh battery under the hood.

The Docoss X1 can now be booked in India, which started at 6 AM yesterday and will end at 10 PM on April 29. The company claims to start delivering the smartphone from May 2, 2016. They are also accepting Cash on Delivery (COD) at Rs 99 extra and consumers can book the device over SMS as well. However, we would ask our readers to be extra careful while ordering the device since it might turn out to be another scam, like the Freedom 251.
