Dell Venue 10 7000 tablet officially announced

Dell Venue 10 7000 tablet has been announced officially. It is the latest tablet in the Venue 10 series. It is similar to the Dell Venue 8 7480 tablet. Lets have a look at the specifications of the device.


Dell Venue 10 7000 Specifications

The Dell Venue 10 7000 tablet features a 10.5-inch (2560 x 1600 pixels) XQXGA AMOLED display. It is powered by 2.3 GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via microSD card. The tablet runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS along with Android for Work, which would help target the pro-business consumers.

On the camera front, the Dell Venue 10 7000 is equipped with a 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The tablet has two Intel RealSense Snapshot Depth Camera which offers depth mapping, measurements and 3D editing. It is just 6.2 mm thick which makes it one of the slimmest tablet in the world and weighs 598 grams.


The Dell Venue 10 7000 tablet comes with WiFi 802.11 ac (dual) b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 as connectivity options. It has a massive 7,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The Dell Venue 10 7000 tablet will be available in USA, Canada and China from May 2015. It is priced at US $499 (INR Rs 31,000 approximately) and US $629 (INR Rs 39,150 approximately). There is no information of availability in India yet.
