CREO Mark 1 becomes the cheapest QHD smartphone in India for a limited time

CREO Mark 1, a new flagship smartphone running on custom Android-based FUEL OS was announced in India back in April. It was priced at Rs 19,999. Now, the device has received a Rs 6,000 price cut for a ‘limited period’ and is now available on Flipkart for Rs 13,999. As it is a limited period price cut, the pricing will last still stocks last. CREO Mark 1 Specifications

The CREO Mark 1 features a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD IPS display that comes with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.95 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) processor along with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The back panel is also covered by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The CREO Mark 1 runs on FUEL OS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It comes with features like important Sense, Echo and Retriever and consumers can also setup custom notifications, smart inbox for messages, lock screen gestures, customizable capacitive touch buttons, smart call forwarding and more. It has received its first major update back in May.

The Sense feature will offer quicker access to everything in 2 steps and faster navigation, which can be enabled from the gesture settings. The Echo feature that is a built-in answering machine will automatically answer when the user doesn’t attend a call and the caller can also send messages that are stored in the phone. A call can be sent to Echo mode by simply double tapping the power button or swiping up when a call is being received.

The Retriever feature will send an email if a new SIM is inserted, including number of the SIM and it doesn’t require internet. CREO support will also help the user to locate the phone.


The Mark 1 comes with a 21 megapixel rear primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX230 sensor, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). It can record 4K videos along with 120 fps slow motion videos at 1080p resolution. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with 86-degree wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. It can record 1080p videos. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. The body is made up of aircraft-grade metal frame which is 8.7 mm thick and weighs 190 grams.

The Mark 1 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,100 mAh battery under the hood with fast charging support.
