Coolpad Note 5 has been officially launched in India. It is the latest mid-ranger from the house of the Coolpad in their ‘Note series’. Earlier, the company had launched the Coolpad Mega 2.5D, Coolpad Note 3 Plus and Coolpad Note 3 Lite. Lets check out its features and specifications below along with its pricing and availability.
Coolpad Note 5 Specifications
The Coolpad Note 5 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS fully laminated display, that is protected by scratch-resistant glass and has a screen-to-body ratio of 78%. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 (Quad 1.5 GHz + Quad 1.2 GHz) processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, which can also be further expanded via microSD card (up to 64 GB). The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with Cool UI 8.0 on top of it.
The Note 5 rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, CMOS sensor and 5P lens. It can record Full HD 1080p videos as well. There is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 80.1-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It features a fingerprint sensor at the back, which will help you unlock the phone in just 0.1 seconds. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. The Note 5 has a full metal unibody design that is 8.85 mm thick and weighs 173.4 grams.
The Note 5 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual band), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 4,010 mAh battery under the hood that promises up to 14 hours of talk time and up to 350 hours of standby time.
The Coolpad Note 5 is available in Champagne Gold and Noble Black color variants. It has been priced at Rs 10,999 in India and will go on open sale exclusively via Amazon starting from October 20, 2016.
