Coolpad Note 3 Plus with Full HD display launched in India for Rs 8999

Coolpad Note 3 Plus has been officially launched in India today at an event in Delhi. It has similar specifications as the original Coolpad Note 3 but comes with a Full HD 1080p display. It will be made in partnership with Videocon at their Aurangabad facility in order to contribute to government’s “Make in India” initiative. Lets go through the specifications once again.


Coolpad Note 3 Plus Specifications

The Coolpad Note 3 Plus features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, which is protected by scratch resistant glass. It is powered by 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Cool UI 6.0 on top of it.

The Note 3 Plus comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5p lens and f/2.0 aperture. It can record 1080p Full HD videos. There is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 1.4 micron pixels for selfies and video calling. As mentioned earlier, it has a fingerprint sensor at the back. It supports Dual SIM and has a 3.5 mm audio jack. It is 9.3 mm thick and weighs 168 grams.

The Note 3 Plus comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. It rocks a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery under the hood.

The Coolpad Note 3 Plus is available in Gold and Champagne White color variants for Rs 8,999. It will be exclusively sold via Amazon India starting from May 13, 2016. The Coolpad Note 3 has received a price cut recently and is available for Rs 8,499.
