Coolpad Mega 3 has been officially launched in India today, exclusively on Amazon. It is the latest budget smartphone from the company and it boasts of triple SIM support. Lets check out the other specifications, features and pricing of the device below.

Coolpad Mega 3 Specifications

The Coolpad Mega 3 features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, that is protected by scratch-resistant glass and has a screen-to-body ratio of 73.5%. It is powered by a 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which can also be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Cool UI 8.0 on top of it. There are patterns on the back cover for a better grip.

The Mega 3 rocks a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture. There is another 8 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 80.1-degree wide-angle lens for taking selfies and making video calls. Both of them can record Full HD 1080p videos. It supports triple SIM and also has a dedicated microSD card slot. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 8.35 mm thick and weighs 170.5 grams.

The Mega 3 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,050 mAh battery (removable) under the hood, that promises up to 200 hours of standby time.

The Coolpad Mega 3 is available in Grey, Gold and White color variants. It has been priced at Rs 6,999 in India and will go on sale exclusively via Amazon starting from December 7, 2016. The company has also launched the Coolpad Note 3S priced at Rs 9,999. It will also go on sale exclusively via Amazon on December 7.
