Coolpad Dazen Note 3 to launch in India on October 8 exclusively on Amazon

October 8 seems to be a lucky day for the smartphone manufacturers. Coolpad has scheduled an event on 8th to launch the Coolpad Dazen Note 3 exclusively on Amazon India. It was earlier announced back in July that the device will change the dynamics of the Indian smartphone market.


The Indian festive season is here and its raining smartphones. Motorola and Gionee are all set to announce the Moto X Style and Elife E8 on October 8 and Coolpad joins in as well. The company will launch the Dazen Note 3 that promises to be the first smartphone priced below Rs 10,000 in India to come with a fingerprint scanner. Coolpad debuted in the country with the launch of Dazen 1 and Dazen X7 exclusively on Snapdeal. This time they will be partnering with Amazon India.

Coolpad Dazen Note 3 was launched in China by QIKU, a joint venture by Coolpad group and worldwide internet giant QIHU 360. The device has taken the Chinese smartphone market by storm as the company received more than 2.6 million pre-orders in just one week. Lets check out the specifications.


Coolpad Dazen Note 3 Specifications

The Coolpad Dazen Note 3 features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS fully laminated display, which has a pixel density of 267 ppi. It is powered by 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor along with Mali T720 MP2 GPU. It has 2GB / 3GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Cool UI 6.0 on top of it.

The Dazen Note 3 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5p lens and f/2.0 aperture. It can record 1080p Full HD videos. There is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 1.4 micron pixels for selfies and video calling. As mentioned earlier, it has a fingerprint sensor at the back. It supports Dual SIM and has a 3.5 mm audio jack. It is 9.3 mm thick and weighs 155 grams.

The Dazen Note 3 comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. It rocks a 3,000 mAh removable battery under the hood. It will be priced under Rs 10,000 in India and will be available in Black and White color variants.
