Coolpad launches 3GB RAM variant of Cool 1 in India for Rs 10999

Coolpad Cool 1 was launched in India at the end of last year. It came with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM. The company has now launched a 3GB RAM variant of the smartphone exclusively on Amazon India. The Coolpad Cool 1 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS in-cell display, that has 450 nits of brightness, 72% NTSC color gamut and a pixel density of 401 PPI. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory (eMMC 5.1), which cannot be expanded further since it does not have a microSD card slot. The device runs on EUI 5.6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

In the camera department, the phablet rocks dual 13 megapixel rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), 4K video and 720p slo-mo video at 120fps. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM (nano) and also packs in an Infrared sensor. The device packs in a fingerprint sensor at the back, that can unlock the phone in just 0.15 seconds. It has a unibody metal design that is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 167 grams.

The Cool 1 includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, USB Type-C and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 4,060 mAh battery under the hood with fast charging support.

The Coolpad Cool 1 3GB RAM variant has been priced at Rs. 10,999 and is now exclusively available on Amazon India. The 4GB RAM variant of the phone is now available for Rs. 12,999, after getting a price cut of Rs. 1,000.
