BLU ENERGY X has been officially launched in USA. It is one of the two latest devices in the ENERGY lineup that mainly focuses on the battery life. Earlier, we saw the BLU Studio ENERGY 2 that was also announced today. Lets look at the specifications.

The BLU ENERGY X features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD LCD IPS display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor along with Mali-T400 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded via microSD. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It has a metal build.
The ENERGY X comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It shoots videos at 1080p at 30 fps. It has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera with for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 154 grams. It supports dual SIM with dual standby mode.
The BLU ENERGY X comes with 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 4,000 mAh non-removable battery under the hood that promises up to 3 days of battery life with standard usage and up to 30 days in standby mode.
The BLU ENERGY X is available in Midnight Grey and Luxury Gold color variants and has been priced at US $109 (INR Rs 7,082 approximately). It is selling on Amazon.
