ASUS ZenPad Z8 (ZT581KL) Specifications

The ASUS ZenPad Z8 (ZT581KL) features a 7.9-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) QXGA IPS display that comes with a viewing angle of 178-degree. It is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 (Quad 1.4 GHz A53 + Dual 1.8 GHz A72) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box with Zen UI on top of it.

On the camera front, the ZenPad Z8 has a 8 megapixel rear primary camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It has a Single SIM slot, dual-front facing stereo speakers and DTS-HD audio for an enhanced audio experience.

On the connectivity front, the ZenPad Z8 includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C and GPS + GLONASS. It packs in a 4,680 mAh battery under the hood.

The ASUS ZenPad Z8 (ZT581KL) is available in Black color and has been priced at US $249.99 (INR Rs 16,828 approximately). It will go on sale via Verizon retail stores starting from June 23, 2016. Consumers can also purchase it on a 2-year contract at $10.41 per month.

ASUS had recently launched a trio of new Zenfone 3s – Zenfone 3Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra.
