ASUS ZenPad Z10 tablet with Snapdragon 650 SoC, 3GB RAM goes official

ASUS ZenPad Z10 (ZT500KL), the latest tablet from the house of ASUS has been launched in the US for Verizon Wireless. It is the bigger variant of the ZenPad Z8 that was unveiled back in June. Lets check out its features and specifications below.

ASUS ZenPad Z10 (ZT500KL) Specifications

The ASUS ZenPad Z10 features a 9.7-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) QXGA fully laminated IPS display, that comes with a pixel density of 264 PPI. It is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 (Dual 1.8 GHz ARM A72 + Quad 1.4 GHz ARM A53) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box with Zen UI 3.0 on top of it.

On the camera front, the ZenPad Z10 has a 8 megapixel rear primary camera, which can record Full HD 1080p videos. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It has a Single SIM slot (nano), dual-front facing stereo speakers and DTS-HD audio and 7.1-channel virtual sound for an enhanced audio experience. It is 7.1 mm thick and weighs 490 grams.

On the connectivity front, the ASUS ZenPad Z10 includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, USB Type-C, USB Type-C and GPS + GLONASS. It packs in a 7,800 mAh battery (non-removable) under the hood.

The ASUS ZenPad Z10 is available in Slate Gray color and has been priced at US $329.99. It will go on sale via Verizon retail starting from October 13 and the tablet will also be sold via a two-year contract at $13.74 per month.
