ASUS Zenfone Max (ZC550KL) has been announced in India at the ZenFestival in Delhi yesterday. It will be available globally starting in October and packs in a whopping 5,000mAh battery under the hood. Lets check out the other specifications.

The ASUS Zenfone Max features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 8 / 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with Zen UI on top.
The phablet comes with 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone flash and Laser Auto Focus. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM and is just 5.2 mm thick in spite of packing a 5,000 mAh battery.
On the connectivity front, it comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The phablet comes with a whopping 5,000 mAh non-removable battery under the hood, which can be used to charge other devices as well.
The ASUS Zenfone Max (ZC550KL) will be available sometime starting in October. The company has not revealed the price yet.
