ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser has been announced at Zenvolution 2016 event in Vietnam, along with the Zenfone 3 Max. Lets go through the specifications and features of the phablet now.
ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser Specifications
The ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and has 77% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (Quad 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + Quad 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory, which is further expandable via microSD card. It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with Zen UI 2.0 on top.
The Zenfone 3 Laser rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX214 sensor, Laser Auto Focus and 3-axis EIS. On the front, it has a front-facing camera for selfies and video calling but the exact specification hasn’t been revealed yet. It comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back, that can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds. The phone has a metal body, which is 7.9 mm thick.
On the connectivity front, it comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The battery capacity has not been disclosed yet.
The ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser is available in Silver, Rose Gold and Gold color variants. It has been priced at 5,990,000 Vietnamese Dong (US $266 / INR Rs 17,853 approximately). There is no information about global roll out yet. The company has also announced the ASUS Zenfone 3 Max, which has been priced at 4,490,000 Vietnamese Dong (US $199 / INR Rs 13,382 approximately).
