ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 with 3GB RAM now on sale in India for Rs 13999

ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 was officially launched in India at the ZenFestival in Delhi, in presence of ASUS Chairman, Jonney Shih. The device was on pre-order since August 19 and since yesterday it is available for purchase on Flipkart. The Snapdragon 410 variant went on sale in September for Rs 9,999.

The ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with Zen UI on top.

The phablet comes with 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone flash and Laser Auto Focus. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It is 3.9 – 10.8 mm thick and weighs 170 grams. It supports Dual SIM.

On the connectivity front, it comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The phablet comes with a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 (ZE550KL) is available in Ceramic White, Glamour Red and Pure Black color variants in India and has been priced at Rs 13,999 on Flipkart. It will also be sold via ASUS Exclusive stores and authorized retailers.
