ASUS partners with Overcart to sell ‘Unboxed’ Zenfone series is becoming a popular name for selling refurbished smartphones. In the recent past, we have seen Xiaomi and OnePlus joining them to sell their devices at lower prices. Now, ASUS join hands with them to bring the complete Zenfone lineup to Overcart.


ASUS partners with Overcart to sell refurbished products which will also contribute towards reducing e-waste. According to the agreement between the two companies, ASUS will be offering the entire Zenfone series at much lower prices than the actual cost of the device. The ‘Unboxed’ models will completely be refurbished with a seal. They will also come with an official warranty of 6 months.

However, we have no information on the exact product listing or pricing or for that matter the date of availability yet. We will bring you the news as soon as we have it.

Mr. Peter Chang, Regional Head – South Asia & Country Manager, ASUS India said,

“ASUS Zenfone patrons have always made us work more towards enhancing the availability of our handsets owing to the high demand. This is an effort to make our products available to everyone. It is an irresistible offer as the phones are available at a price that is slashed further without compromising on performance which is the hallmark of ASUS. We also wish to do our bit to reduce e-waste through this association with”

Overcart is the first brand in India to have tapped the ‘unboxed’ and ‘refurbished’ products space in an organised way. Products that are ordered from an e-commerce platform are returned to the manufacturer under return policy after unboxing due to various reasons. These are  rendered unmarketable and usually pile up with the manufacturer. However, these products are virtually new or have minor issues which can bead dressed. These excess, unboxed and refurbished unboxed products are offered on at significant discounts after a thorough quality check.
