Asus recently launched the Transformer Pad TF103 and Transformer Book T200 in India. The company has now launched the Asus PadFone mini (PF400CG) in India priced at Rs 15,999. You can buy it on Flipkart. Let’s have a look at the specifications.
Asus PadFone mini is a smartphone with featuring a 4-inch (800 x 400 pixels) IPS+ display which docks into a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS+ display PadFone station. The PadFone is powered by 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom (Z2560) processor along with PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU. The smartphone weighs 116 grams and is 11.2 mm in thickness while the PadFone station weighs 260 grams and is 13.91 mm in thickness.
The Asus PadFone mini comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. It will come preloaded with Android 4.3 JellyBean, upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat and Android Lollipop in the future, hopefully. It has dual SIM.
On the camera front, the Asus PadFone mini has a 8-megapixel rear camera with dual flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calling. The Asus PadFone mini comes with 1,200 mAh battery (in phone) and 2,100 mAh battery (in PadFone station) under the hood.
The Asus PadFone mini includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, aGPS and GLONASS as connectivity options. The Asus PadFone Mini is available in Black and White colour variants on Flipkart for Rs 15,999.
