ARCHOS Diamond Tab announced ahead of IFA 2015 for USD 275

ARCHOS Diamond Tab has been unveiled ahead of IFA 2015 by the French brand. Lets have a look at the specifications of the tablet, which is similar to the Xiaomi Mi Pad and the Nokia N1 tablet.


ARCHOS Diamond Tab Specifications

The ARCHOS Diamond Tab features a 7.9-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) QXGA 4:3 display which has a pixel density of 326 ppi. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT8752 64-bit processor along with Mali T760 MP2 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Diamond Tab comes with a 5 megapixel primary rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 7.8 mm thick and weighs 360 grams.

The Diamond Tab includes 4G LTE (800/1800/2600 MHz), 3G HSPA+ (with voice calling), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 4,800 mAh battery under the hood.

The ARCHOS Diamond Tab has been priced at £179 (US $275 / INR Rs 18,200 approximately). It will go on sale sometime in October via the ARCHOS web-store and will be showcased at the upcoming IFA 2015 from September 4. The company also announced the ARCHOS Diamond S and ARCHOS 50e Helium / 50 Cesium smartphones recently.
