ARCHOS has announced three new smartphones – ARCHOS Diamond S, 50e Helium and 50 Cesium, ahead of IFA 2015. Lets look at the specifications of Diamond S here.
ARCHOS Diamond S Specifications
The ARCHOS Diamond S features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor along with Mali T720 MP3 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
The Diamond S comes with a 16 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash which can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 8.4 mm thick and weighs 118 grams. The smartphone supports Dual SIM and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Diamond S includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. It packs in a 2,300 mAh Li-on battery under the hood.
The ARCHOS Diamond S has been priced at £159.99 (US $251 / INR Rs 16,600 approximately). It will go on sale sometime in November and will be showcased at the upcoming IFA 2015 from September 4. The company announced ARCHOS 50d Helium back in July.
