ARCHOS is in the news yet again for launching new devices. The company has announced two new phablets – ARCHOS Diamond 2 Plus and ARCHOS Diamond 2 Note, ahead of the Mobile World Congress 2016. Lets check out the specifications and features of Diamond 2 Plus here.
ARCHOS Diamond 2 Plus Specifications
The ARCHOS Diamond 2 Plus features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD fully laminated 2.5D curved glass IPS display, which is protected by DragonTrail glass. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 64-bit (Quad 2.0 GHz + Quad 1.2 GHz) processor along with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM and comes with 64 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
The Diamond 2 Plus comes with a 20 megapixel primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Laser Auto Focus, Sony sensor and f/2.2 aperture. It has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It is 8.3 mm thick and weighs 130 grams. The phablet supports Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano/microSD) and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack. It also has a fingerprint sensor located below the primary camera.
The Diamond 2 Plus includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB Type-C and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh non-removable built-in battery under the hood which supports Fast Charge.
The ARCHOS Diamond 2 Plus is available in Black and White color variants and has been priced at €249 / £199 / $229 (INR Rs 15,769 approximately). It will go on sale in May 2016 and will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, that will take place between February 22 to February 25.
