ARCHOS is in the news yet again for launching new devices. The company has announced two new phablets – ARCHOS Diamond 2 Plus and ARCHOS Diamond 2 Note, ahead of the Mobile World Congress 2016. Lets check out the specifications and features of Diamond 2 Note here.
ARCHOS Diamond 2 Note Specifications
The ARCHOS Diamond 2 Note features a 6-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD fully laminated 2.5D curved glass IPS display with borderless design, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 64-bit processor along with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
The Diamond 2 Note comes with a 16 megapixel primary rear camera with dual LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and f/2.0 aperture. It can shoot 4K videos as well. It has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It is 8.7 mm thick and weighs 150 grams. The phablet supports Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano/microSD) and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Diamond 2 Note includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,610 mAh non-removable built-in battery under the hood which supports Fast Charge. It supports Smart PA sound amplification and comes with Infrared LED for Remote support.
The ARCHOS Diamond 2 Note is available in Silver color and has been priced at €299 / £249 / $279 (INR Rs 19,212 approximately). It will go on sale in May 2016 and will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, that will take place between February 22 to February 25.
