ARCHOS 70 Oxygen tablet with 7-inch display officially announced

ARCHOS has announced three new tablets today in their Oxygen series after introducing 50d Oxygen smartphone around one week back. We will check out the specifications and features of ARCHOS 70 Oxygen tablet here.


ARCHOS 70 Oxygen Specifications

The ARCHOS 70 Oxygen features a 7-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek 8163A processor along with Mali 720MP2 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

The 70 Oxygen comes with a 5 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash. It has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The back is covered with an aluminium casing that gives it a premium look and feel.

The 70 Oxygen includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The ARCHOS 70 Oxygen tablet is available in Silver color variant and has been priced at £75 (US $108 / INR Rs 7,364 approximately). The company has also unveiled the ARCHOS 80 Oxygen and ARCHOS 101b Oxygen tablets for £99.99 (US $143 / INR Rs 9,820 approximately) and £119 (US $171 / INR Rs 11,689 approximately), respectively. They will go on sale starting from May 2016 and will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, that will take place between February 22 to February 25.
