ARCHOS has announced three new smartphones – ARCHOS 50e Helium, 50 Cesium and Diamond S, ahead of IFA 2015. Here, we will look at the specifications of 50e Helium and 50 Cesium, since they have similar specs.
ARCHOS 50e Helium / 50 Cesium Specifications
The ARCHOS 50e Helium / 50 Cesium features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. It is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop / Windows 10 OS out of the box.
The smartphone comes with a 8 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash. It has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 8.5 mm thick. The smartphone supports Dual SIM and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The 50e Helium / 50 Cesium includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. It packs in a 2,100 mAh Li-on battery under the hood.
The ARCHOS 50e Helium / 50 Cesium has been priced at £99.99 (US $155 / INR Rs 10,300 approximately). It will go on sale sometime in November and will be showcased at the upcoming IFA 2015 from September 4. The company announced ARCHOS 50d Helium back in July.
