ARCHOS 50d Oxygen has been officially announced ahead of Mobile World Congress 2016. It is the latest mid-range smartphone with 4G LTE support from the company. Lets go through the specifications of the device.
ARCHOS 50d Oxygen Specifications
The ARCHOS 50d Oxygen features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD fully laminated IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor along with 450 MHz Mali-T720 MP3 GPU. It has 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
The 50d Oxygen comes with a 13 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash which can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 140 grams. The smartphone supports Dual SIM (micro + mini) and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack.
The 50d Oxygen includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,100 mAh battery under the hood.
The ARCHOS 50d Oxygen will be available in Black with Gold color and has been priced at £129 (US $186 / INR Rs 12,725 approximately). It will be released sometime in May 2016 and will be showcased at MWC in Barcelona, that will take place between February 22 to February 25.
