AOC E40 smartphone unveiled priced at Rs 5,299

AOC, popularly known for their monitors have launched their second smartphone in India today, named as AOC E40. It is a budget Android smartphone whereas the earlier device from the company was a phablet called the M601. Let us go through the specifications of the smartphone.


AOC E40 Specifications

The AOC E40 features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA display which is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor along with Mali-400 GPU. It has 512 MB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and we do not think it will ever be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The AOC E40 comes with a 2 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports dual SIM and comes with 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.


The AOC E40 includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 1,600 mAh battery under the hood. It will come with free F-secure Antivirus and Anti-theft software worth Rs 1000 valid for one year, regional language input with Adaptive Keyboard, Free Reading with readwhere worth Rs 1000, Your Movies app to download movies worth Rs 2,000 for 60 days, Music downloads and streaming using Hungama worth Rs 1000 for 30 days and more.

The AOC E40 will be available in White and Black colour variants and has been priced at Rs 5,299.
