Google unveiled three new Android One smartphones in India which will go on sale later this month. The company launched Android One smartphones in India back in September last year and they expanded to Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka last month.
Google had introduced Android One devices back in September last year in India, with three smartphones from different OEMs priced around USD 100. Google’s aim was to provide timely OTA updates to low-end devices but they have messed it up completely. We reported that Android One will soon get upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop. It looks like Android 5.1 Lollipop will hit Android One phones in India.
Google launched three new Android One smartphones in Indonesia today and it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. We also reported that Android 5.1 Lollipop was coming in February, 2015 and its turning out to be true.
Google unveiled three new Android One smartphones namely – Evercoss One X, Mito Impact and Nexian Journey. All the three smartphones have similar kind of specifications which were launched in India. They include 4.5-inch FWVGA display which is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM. The smartphones come with 8 GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It has 5 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The devices pack in a 1,700 mAh battery under the hood and it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
These Android One smartphones in Indonesia will be available from online retailers such as Global Teleshop, Oke Shop, erafone and Selular Shop as well as offline retail stores.
