Amazon Fire tablet now comes in 3 new colors and 16GB storage

Amazon Fire, the most affordable tablet from the company that was introduced last year for $49.99, now comes in three new colors – magenta, blue and tangerine. Also, a 16GB ROM variant has also been added for US $69.99. Lets check out the rest of the specifications now.


Amazon Fire tablet Specifications

The Amazon Fire tablet features a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) WSVGA IPS display that has a pixel density of 170 ppi. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 / 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Fire OS 5 based on Android Lollipop out of the box.

The Amazon Fire tablet comes with a 2 megapixel primary rear camera that is capable of recording 720p HD videos. On the front, it has a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The tablet is 10.6 mm thick and weighs 313 grams. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, integrated speaker and built-in microphone.

The Fire tablet includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, and USB 2.0 as connectivity options. The tablet claims to have a battery life of up to 7 hours with mixed usage.
