Alcatel Pop Star officially launched in India for Rs 6999

Alcatel Pop Star smartphone has been officially launched in India today. It is the latest budget 4G device from the company. It was unveiled at IFA in September last year. Lets check out the specifications, features and pricing now.


Alcatel Pop Star Specifications

The Alcatel Pop Star features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS fully laminated display that comes with 160-degree wide-viewing angle. It is powered by a 1.0 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Pop Star rocks a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calling. It has Dual SIM support, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.

The Pop Star comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The Alcatel Pop Star is available in Metal Silver and Metal Gold color variants for Rs 6,999 in India. It is being sold exclusively on Gadgets 360.
