Acer Liquid Zest Plus with 5000mAh battery goes official

Acer Liquid Zest Plus phablet has been announced at an event in New York couple of days back. The company had launched the Liquid Zest and Liquid Zest 4G devices at MWC back in February. Lets check out the specifications of the Zest Plus.


Acer Liquid Zest Plus Specifications

The Acer Liquid Zest Plus features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720) HD IPS Zero Air Gap display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

The Zest Plus rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Laser Auto Focus, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and hybrid tri-focus system for contrast detection. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, DTS HD Sound and FM Radio.

On the connectivity front, the Acer Liquid Zest Plus comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The phablet packs in a massive 5,000 mAh battery under the hood that supports Quick Charge and promises up to 3 days of battery life.

The Acer Liquid Zest Plus is available in Pure White and Metallic Blue color variants and will be priced under US $250 (INR Rs 16,665 approximately). The phablet will go on sale in Asian markets very soon.
