Acer Liquid Zest with Android Marshmallow goes official

Acer has introduced two new budget smartphones at the Mobile World Congress today. They are known as the Liquid Zest and Liquid Zest 4G. We will check out the specifications and features of the Acer Liquid Zest here.


Acer Liquid Zest Specifications

The Acer Liquid Zest features a 5-inch (1280 x 720) HD IPS display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. There is no information about the capacity of RAM, internal storage and expandable storage.

The Zest rocks a 8 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, DTS Sound Studio and FM Radio.

On the connectivity front, the Acer Liquid Zest comes with 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. There is no information about the battery capacity yet.

The Acer Liquid Zest will be available in Daylight White and Midnight Black color variants and will start at €109. It will go on sale in April in EMEA region. The company has also launched the flagship smartphone, Acer Liquid Jade 2 powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset as well.
