Acer Liquid Z410, the company’s latest budget smartphone was unveiled ahead of CES 2015. Earlier today we saw Xiaomi launching the Redmi 2, which is another budget 4G LTE smartphone. Let us go through the specifications of the smartphone.

It is powered by 64-bit SoC (MediaTek MT6752 likely) along with Mali-760 GPU. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and will likely be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.

On the camera front, the Acer Liquid Z410 has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens for your selfies and video calling. It has a front-facing speaker along with DTS digital audio support for enhanced audio output.

The Acer Liquid Z410 has the company’s signature AcerRAPID key which allows the users to access a range of customizable actions with a single touch. There is another feature called the AcerEXTEND which enables users to take full control of their smartphones via cable or wirelessly using their Windows-based PC, typing with their keyboard, using drag and drop and rich sharing.

We do not have any details about the RAM available or internal storage yet and also the battery but Acer promises up to 5.5 hours of talk-time and up to 400 hours in standby mode.

The Acer Liquid Z410 will go on sale around February end in EMEA regions and price will start at 129 Euros (USD 155/ INR 9,790 approximately).

Indian smartphone market will be flooded with 4G LTE enabled smartphones as MotorolaHTC and Lenovo are also planning to bring new devices in 2015. There are already quite a lot of budget 4G LTE enabled smartphones in India which includes the YU YurekaRedmi Note 4G and Lumia 638. All these devices have 2,300 MHz TDD-LTE (Band 40) and upcoming 1,800 MHz FDD-LTE (Band 3) for India. The Indian 4G LTE has not yet taken off and has limited presence in few states only. With the upcoming Reliance Jio 4G services, these smartphones will come in handy and will be in great demand. We hope Acer also launches the Liquid Z410 in the Indian market soon.
