Acer Liquid Leap+ fitness band now selling is USA for $79.99

Acer Liquid Leap+ fitness band has finally gone on sale in USA. The band was announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona.


Acer Liquid Leap+ Smart Activeband Specifications

The Liquid Leap+ Smart Activeband rocks a 1-inch OLED touchscreen display which tracks users’ steps, running distance and calories burned. It does not have any physical buttons but is IPX7 certified, meaning its waterproof. The user interface will provide music controls (play, pause, previous and next) and SMS notifications, email, calendar. The Acer Liquid Leap+ Smart Activeband connects with all the main mobile OS like Android, iOS and Windows.

The Liquid Leap+ Smart Activeband will also monitor sleep patterns during the night. The band uses Bluetooth 4.0 LE (Low Energy) and has an estimated battery life of about 5 to 7 days according to Acer. It comes with Acer Leap Manager app on Android, iOS and Windows. So you need not worry about your smartphone’s platform as it is a cross-platform device.

The Acer Liquid Leap+ is available with three interchangeable colour bands – Charcoal Black, Fuchsia Pink and Lime Green. It has been priced at US $79.99 and is selling via all leading retailers and Acer’s official online store.
