Acer Liquid Jade Primo with Windows 10 now available in USA

Acer Liquid Jade Primo running on Windows 10 Mobile was announced ahead of CES 2016 in January. The company had teased the Liquid Jade Primo back at IFA 2015. It went on sale in Europe back in April and now the device is available for purchase in USA. It is listed on the Microsoft Store and has been priced at US $649. Out of the box, customers will also get a desktop dock along with a mouse and a keyboard. Lets have a recap of the specifications and features of the device below.


Acer Liquid Jade Primo Specifications

The Acer Liquid Jade Primo features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) Full HD AMOLED display that is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The display has 100% NTSC color gamut, 10000:1 contrast ratio and 176-degree wide-viewing angle. It is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor along with Adreno 418 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and has 32 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded via microSD card. It runs on Windows 10 Mobile OS out of the box.

The Jade Primo rocks a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.2 aperture. It records 4K videos. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 84-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio and Lumia Rich Recording with four microphones. The phone has an advanced cooling system that will efficiently dissipate the heat from the processor and also reduce the overall rear surface temperature, according to Acer. The latest smartphone from Acer will offer PC-like experience like the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL when it is connected to a secondary display.

On the connectivity front, the Acer Liquid Jade Primo comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C and GPS. It packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The company has also announced the Acer Liquid Jade 2 back in February.
