Acer Liquid Jade 2 has been officially announced at the Mobile World Congress today. It is the latest flagship device from the company that comes with identical specifications as that of the Windows 10-based Acer Liquid Jade Primo.

The Acer Liquid Jade 2 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) Full HD AMOLED display that is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The display has 100% NTSC color gamut, 10000:1 contrast ratio and 176-degree wide-viewing angle. It is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor along with Adreno 418 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and has 32 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 1 TB via hybrid storage. It runs on Android OS (version not known) out of the box.
The Jade 2 rocks a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.2 aperture. It records 4K videos. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 84-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It has high-resolution audio with virtual surround sound powered by DTS Headphone.
On the connectivity front, the Acer Liquid Jade 2 comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C and GPS. It packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.
Acer has not revealed the pricing and availability of the device yet, but said that the “exact specifications, prices, and availability will vary by region.”
