60,000 units of Redmi 1s to go on sale on October 28 on Flipkart at 2pm

Couple of weeks back, the Xiaomi Redmi 1s received the most important update which fixes most of the software issues on the handset. This would certainly help the users who are in a fix whether to buy the device today or not. 60,000 units will be available tomorrow instead of 90,000 units which were available on October 21.

Previous week on October 21, 90,000 units of Redmi 1s went sale and were sold out. Although Xiaomi didn’t announce the duration this time around. It looks like the Redmi 1s wasn’t sold out in seconds. But on Flipkart’s Big Billion Day Sale, 1,50,000 units of Xiaomi Redmi 1s were available for sale that too without any registration. Even, Flipkart gave 5% cash back on it too. It didn’t go out of stock in seconds like all other flash days sales but there were no stocks left at the end of the day.

Those who couldn’t buy the smartphone on that day or are on the edge of the fence whether to go for the device or not, can buy it tomorrow from Flipkart at 2pm. Of course, you have to be registered for the sale which will offer 90,000 units of Redmi 1s.

To recap on the specifications, Xiaomi Redmi 1s is a budget phone from Xiaomi which is priced at Rs. 5,999. It has a 4.7 inch 720P LED IPS Display with 321 ppi. It comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8228 1.6GHz processor. On the camera front, it has a 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.6 megapixel front facing camera for selfies. It comes with a 2050 mAh removable battery. It has AGC Dragontrail scratch resistant glass instead of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Xiaomi Redmi 1s has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It weighs 158 grams and is 9.9 mm in thickness. It comes with an expandable storage slot which can fit in SD cards up to 64GB. It will come preloaded with Android 4.3 JellyBean (upgradable to 4.4 Kitkat) with MIUI v5 on top. It is a dual SIM phone with only one SIM supporting 3G. You can find more about it here.
