100,000 units of Lenovo A6000 Plus goes on flash sale on April 28 at 2pm on Flipkart

Lenovo A6000 Plus was launched in India on April 17. The smartphone will go on its first flash sale on April 28 at 2PM on Flipkart for Rs 7,499. Now, Lenovo has declared 100,000 units will be up for grabs.


Lenovo A6000 saw tremendous response and has prompted the Lenovo team to bring in more units for the A6000 Plus. This will be the first ever flash sale in India which will have 1 lakh units up for grabs. The sale will take place on April 28 at 2PM exclusively on Flipkart. Registrations are currently on and will wrap up by April 27 midnight.

A spokesperson from Lenovo said,

“Considering the A6000 sold out 300,000 units faster than anticipated, we are expecting the A6000 Plus to see an even greater response. The Lenovo A6000 Plus lets you do more in every way seamlessly and outperforms phones that cost a lot more.”

The Lenovo A6000 Plus features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display which is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the company’s Vibe 2.0 UI on top of it. Hopefully it will get an Android 5.0 Lollipop update as well.

The Lenovo A6000 Plus comes with a 8-megapixel auto-focus rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 128 grams. It has dual SIM and both fits in microSIM.

The Lenovo A6000 Plus includes 4G LTE (TD-LTE 2300 MHz & FDD-LTE 1800 MHz), 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,300 mAh battery under the hood. It will be available in Black, White, Yellow and Red colour variants.
